This is the bottom line to the resurrection… death has been swallowed up in victory, and the sting of death has been defeated.
As you go about your day, think about what the resurrection means for you personally. How does it impact what you’re doing? Why does it matter?
Ask God to give you understanding and insight into your identity in Christ, who you are, where you came from, where you are going, and understanding God’s purpose for your life.
The Gospel’s truth does have tremendous benefits for our lives here in the present, but if we only look to the present, we fail to miss the depth and the breadth of all God has done in his redemptive work.
