Super Church
Children have a great opportunity to worship and hear about Jesus in an age appropriate manner which is fun and easy for them to understand. SuperChurch meets during each Sunday service time.
Children 3 years old and up (& potty-trained) are encouraged to attend SuperChurch. The worship time is geared to be fun, and help them understand Jesus on their level.
What it looks like?
The first 30 minutes all the kids are together in the big room for games, singing, missions awareness, scripture memory, testimonies, prayer, and more! The second 30 minutes the kids are divided into age-level Sunday School classes where they learn Bible stories and do related activities.
Monthly booklets
The kids receive a reward when they recite a scripture form the 'Bible Rocks' booklets. When they complete 8 activities and 3 verses they choose a prize from the prize drawer. These activities are designed to help children grow in their love for Jesus in fun, creative ways.

Nursery
Mission of River Community Church Nursery: To provide a loving and safe environment for children while their parents are in the worship service.
Children’s Nursery is for ages birth to three. The Children’s Nursery is located on the first floor just off the foyer.
Our Nursery Workers are loving plugged-in people from River Community Church. Each worker has been trained on River’s nursery policy. The workers rotate every three months or are permanent, although substitutes may be working when needed. Please get to know your child’s workers; they are great people!
Check your child in with a nursery worker in the designated room (see below)
Infants – Your baby will be in the Infant room from birth until they begin to crawl. Each baby’s individual needs will be cared for. All bottles need to be prepared by the parent. If you have any questions about your baby’s care feel free to ask one of the nursery workers.
Creepers – Your child will be in the Creeper room from the time they are crawling until they are at least 18 months and walking steadily. Children will play together and with nursery workers. They may be given a nursery snack. If there are enough children and workers, this room may be divided into two separate rooms. If you have any questions about your child’s care feel free to ask one of the nursery workers.
Toddlers – Your child will be in the Toddler room from the time they are 18 months and walking steadily until they are potty trained and 3 years old. Children will play together actively and have a nursery snack. If you have any questions about your child’s care feel free to ask one of the nursery workers.
Nursery Illness Policy
We ask that you keep your baby out of the nursery with any of the following symptoms and/or illnesses:
- 99 or above fever
- yellow or green nasal discharge
- any eye discharge
- severe cough
- diarrhea
- vomiting
- questionable rashes
- common cold
- chicken pox
- measles
- mumps
- inflamed mouth or throat
- croup
- head lice
We want the nursery to be a safe place for your child to be healthy and happy!
If your child has one of these symptoms and you decide to attend church with them, you may sit with your child in the overflow room.
