I’m a southern girl at heart, born and raised in my beloved New Orleans. I lost that southern drawl and picked up a “Texas twang” after college at TCU in Fort Worth, where I met and married Oliver in 1988. We’ve lived in Fort Worth, Dallas, northwest Montana and Kansas as Oliver served several churches as associate pastor or pastor. Now he is an 8th grade science teacher at Eisenhower Middle School in Goddard and has served the USAF and Kansas Air National Guard as a chaplain since 1988. We have 3 great kids: Colin, Brenna and Evan. I stayed home for many years with little ones, then began teaching preschool-age children in 2004 at a local mom’s day out. In 2006, I joined the teaching staff at Chapel Hill Preschool. And in 2014, I joined the staff of River as Director of Children’s Ministries.

Hobbies and Interests:

Reading, watching old movies, hanging out on the patio with Oliver, the kids and friends!

My favorites:

Book: “Little Women”
Movie: I don’t have just one but love most classic movies from the 1930s and ’40s.
Place to eat: Our kitchen table, especially when Oliver grills! Eating out? Probably Bella Luna.
Thing to do in Wichita: Walk through Sedgwick Park or Great Plains Nature Center.
