A Letter from Our Pastor

My name is Terry Williams and I have been the pastor of River Community Church since 1990. I’d like to personally invite you to join us at church next Sunday.

Here’s what happens on Sunday mornings…

  • We have two identical services, one at 9:30 and one at 11:00.
  • They are about an hour long and include: singing led by a worship band, a biblical message with real life application, and some praying together.
  • Oh, and don’t worry you won’t have to say, pray, or sing anything if you don’t want to.

If you do decide to join us, please dress in a way that you feel comfortable. If you do, you will be sure to find others dressed just like you!

I promise we won’t single you out or make you feel uncomfortable. I feel kind of strange when I am in a new place with people I don’t know. I really want you to feel as welcome as possible.

We have fantastic facilities, teachers, and bible lessons for your children. They will love it and will want to keep coming back!

So, feel free to look around our website and see some of the other things that are going on at our church.

I hope to see you soon!

God bless,

Pastor Terry

When and where?

River is located near the corner of 21st and Oliver (2130 N. Oliver). Our Sunday services begin at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. The services last about an hour and the services are identical.

What will happen?

There will be teaching from the bible and music led by a band. You don’t need to do anything and we won’t single you out. If you’d like to come early or hang out afterwards you can grab some coffee in the River Cafe.

What about my kids?

Babies and newborns will be in the nursery located just outside our sanctuary. Elementary children will be in our kids area either in Super Church or River Next. More about Children at River

What should I wear?

Please dress in a way that you feel comfortable. It is likely that you will find someone dressed similar to you. We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed so that you won’t be distracted as you hear from and worship God with us.
