Below are the remaining verses that we will be memorizing this year as a church. Since we are going through Psalms this year, we are going to memorize some Psalms rather than the Fighter Verses we have been doing. The date listed next to the verse, is the date that we will say the verses in worship.

October Verses

October 2 Psalm 113:4-6

4 The Lord is exalted over all the nations,
his glory above the heavens.
5 Who is like the Lord our God,
the One who sits enthroned on high,
6 who stoops down to look
on the heavens and the earth?

October 9 Psalm 115:1-4

1 Not to us, O Lord , not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness. 2 Why do the nations say, “Where is their God?” 3 Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him. 4 But their idols are silver and gold, made by the hands of men.

October 16 Psalm 115:5-8

5 They have mouths, but cannot speak, eyes, but they cannot see; 6 they have ears, but cannot hear, noses, but they cannot smell; 7 they have hands, but cannot feel, feet, but they cannot walk; nor can they utter a sound with their throats. 8 Those who make them will be like them, and so will all who trust in them.

October 23 Psalm 119:1,11,105

1 Blessed are they whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord.
11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.

October 30 Psalm 127:1-3

1 Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain. 2 In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat- for he grants sleep to those he loves. 3 Sons are a heritage from the Lord , children a reward from him.

November Verses

November 6 Psalm 139:1-3

1 O Lord , you have searched me and you know me. 2 You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. 3 You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.

November 13 Psalm 139:4-6

4 Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O Lord . 5 You hem me in-behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.

November 20 Psalm 139:7-9

7 Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. 9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea,

November 27 Psalm 139:10-12

10 even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. 11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,” 12 even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.

December Verses

December 4 Psalm 139:13-15

13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,

December 11 Psalm 139:16-18

16 your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. 17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! 18 Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you.

December 18 Psalm 150:1-2, 6

1 Praise the Lord . Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. 2 Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. 6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord . Praise the Lord .
