Turn to God
1 Peter 2:2, 3 Like newborn infants, desire the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow up into your salvation, if you have tasted that the Lord is good.
Ask God, the Holy Spirit, to help you see what he has revealed in His Word. His word is living and active (Heb. 4:12) and he is devoted to revealing himself. Pray for eyes to see him, ears to hear from him, and a heart to obey him.
Thank God for the precious gift of his living and active word.

2. What is God showing me about himself or about people (including me)? (What truth is here?)
3. How should I respond today in light of the Gospel? (What is one step of faith or obedience?)

THURSDAY: Global, National, & Cultural Concerns
With the Fourth of July upon us and our nation’s 250th anniversary, take time to thank God this day for His grace on our country.
Pray for our leaders – that they would govern with wisdom and integrity for the good of the people, and that our nation would continue to be a place where the gospel can be freely proclaimed.
