ADORATION – Reflect on God’s Greatness
GOD IS TRUTH
Absolute truth has its foundation in God Himself, because God is truth.
Jesus speaking of the Holy Spirit says in John 16:13
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
Praise the God of Truth
Praise God because truth does not change. Praise God the Holy Spirit, as the one who reveals truth. Praise God because He has preserved the scriptures, and His word is true.
CONFESSION: Confess your sins to God and receive his continued mercy.
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
THANKSGIVING: Giving thanks to God for his specific blessings in our lives.
“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.” Psalm 100
SUPPLICATION: Bringing our requests to God.
- Bring your personal prayer requests to God.
- Pray for your friends who do not know Jesus. Ask God to strengthen your friendships and to give you opportunities for gospel conversations.

has now become the cornerstone.

and it is wonderful to see.

We will rejoice and be glad in it.

26 Bless the one who comes in the name of the Lord.
We bless you from the house of the Lord.
27 The Lord is God, shining upon us.
Take the sacrifice and bind it with cords on the altar.
28 You are my God, and I will praise you!

14 The Lord is my strength and my song;
he has become my salvation.
15 Shouts of joy and victory
resound in the tents of the righteous:

the Lord’s right hand has done mighty things!”
17 I will not die but live,
and will proclaim what the Lord has done.
18 The Lord has chastened me severely,
but he has not given me over to death.
19 Open for me the gates of righteousness;
I will enter and give thanks to the Lord.
20 This is the gate of the Lord
through which the righteous may enter.
Give thanks today for God’s forgiveness and future promises. You may have suffered in some way from the effects of your own sin in this life. God may have chastened you severely, but if you belong to him, he has not given you over to death. Thank him today for grace. Thank him for covering your sins. Thank him for eternal life. Thank him for a future hope that is certain. Thank him for making a way to enter his presence. Give thanks for God’s grace in your life, today and forever.
