Is Jesus really God?
We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. He was both fully God and fully man when he lived on Earth. He was conceived by God's Holy Spirit and born to a virgin. He lived a blameless life without sin.
Did he really die? If so why?
Yes, He died a horrible death. In fact, He faced horrible torture and was later executed on the cross. Some claim that Jesus never died, but his torture was so severe there would no way he could survive. Jesus chose death in order that His sacrifice would be a payment on behalf of all humanity's sin. Jesus died so that we might have relationship with God.
Some say Jesus came back to life, Do you believe that?
Yes we do! He came back to life three days after his death to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He then went to be with God in Heaven and is alive today. Jesus overcame death and those who follow him will also overcome death in the same way Jesus did.
Is Jesus the only way to know God?
A sincere belief in Jesus' life, teachings, death and resurrection is the only way for people to be reconciled with God and establish an everlasting relationship with him. Jesus even claimed that he was the way to God, when he said, "I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but through me." John 14:6
Is Jesus returning to earth someday?
We believe Jesus will return, personally and visibly, to Earth at a time that no one knows. This will be a time when the world as we know it will come to an end. People who do not believe in Jesus will be separated by their sin from God and suffer eternally in Hell.
"For God did not send his son (Jesus) into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world through him might be saved." John 3:17
